PROTCROWN (Nano Protein Corona Database: A Web-based Repository) was created to provide a collation of protein-nanoparticle interactions, becoming the first web-based Protein Corona database to expand and accelerate the study of protein coronas.
In recent years, the research progress includes the in-depth discussion on the mechanism and influencing factors of protein crown formation. For example, the size, shape and surface chemical properties of nanoparticles, as well as the type, concentration and pH value of proteins, will affect the formation of protein caps.
This database is a tool for data collection, visualization and data retrieval in all experimental studies. In addition, this database realizes certain feature importance analysis and feature extraction of proteins.
